Due to the Christmas Holiday, and everyone was busy, the shoot was canceled.  See you at the next shoot

December 10, 2017 -Monthly Match

Even thought the weather was chilly, three hardy cowboys showed up to shoot.  Six stages were shot.  No formal scores were kept however, it appears that Doc Bandit won the match with his final stage being under 30 seconds. ( I realize that by "gamer" standards, that is a very slow stage.  However, up here in North Idaho, shooting with a bunch of "old guys" , it is not a bad score.)

The next match is December 24th.  We are tentativly planning to have a shoot that day.   See you  all there.

November 12, 2017 -Monthly Match

The weather looked a bit questionable in the morning, however it didn't rain even though it was a bit cool.

​

There is a lesson to be learned from todays shoot.  Last time Doc Bandit was complaining that he didn't have any competition.  Well, 2 other cowboys showed up and 6 stages were shot.  Doc Bandit promptly lost his first place standing to Badger Den.  However, it may not be so bad since Badger Den shoots 2 handed while Doc Bandit who shoots 1 handed (duelist) like real cowboys shoot.  The lesson is be careful what you ask for because you might get it. Here to Doc Bandit's 2nd place.

October 22, 2017 -Monthly Match

Even though the weather looked like rain, the day turned out to be sunny and breezy.  Only Doc Bandit showed up to the match.  He shot 10 fast stages with extra shotgun targets and had minimal complaints about the stages designs.    It was close but he won the match.   Hopefully he will have a bit more competition at the next match.  No scores were posted since no one would of believed they were for real.

July 23, 2017 -Monthly Match

No match was shot since we needed to do some work on the range.  Logs were places on top of the berm to increase the height.  We will be back to normal shooting schedule starting next month.  Just a reminder, if you have not paid your Membership/Renewal dues, please pay now.  Our insurance will need to be paid in near future.

 

July 9, 2017 -Monthly Match

Doc Bandit was the only cowboy that showed up to shoot.  He shot 6 stages and due to his great speed and accuracy he managed to place first in the match.  Let's hope he can continue the trend.

The weather was great for our 2nd shoot of the month with ten cowboys/cowgirls showing up.   Hope to see more of you next time.

On this Memorial Day week end, let us spend some time remembering the people who died while serving in this country's armed forces.

March 26, 2017 -- Monthly Match

We finally got the shooting season off to a great start with 12 cowboys showing up to shoot.  Looked like several cowboy got a bite rusty and slow over the winter.  However, Bootless Bob was there to show us how it is suppose to be done.

​

We will have a short work party before the next shoot to get the roofs into there correct position and properly fastened.

March 12, 2017 -- Monthly Match

​

It turned out to be a great day for shooting.  Unfortunately, only Doc Bandit and Cap'n Crump showed up.  After waiting for an hour because of the time change (day light savings time), Cap'n Crump decided to go home.  That only left Doc Bandit to shoot seven stages.  Please note, that he came in first on all the stages and won the match (not likely to happen again). Hopefully he will have more competition next time.

Winter has be a bit rough on the range.  Several roofs have had problems from the  heavy snow we have had.  We will be having a work party in the near future to fix the problems.
