Ten cowboys/cowgirl showed up for a great fall day of shooting.  Badger Den demonstrated his skills by winning the match. Just proves that "OLD GUYS" still rule.  Blue was present and wrote 2 of his famous/infamous stages (actually they weren't bad this time).  Good to see Ludwick at the match, not letting anything stop him from shooting and Doc Bandit started off with a bang (pun intended) and ended up with thud having gotten 2 procedurals to add 20 seconds to his score.

Looks like summer is finally here with the weather getting hotter.  We had a good turnout for the shoot with even enough cowboys/cowgirls to have two posses.   Was great to have  Ludwick back to play the game.

June 30, 2022 -Monthly Match

A good turn out for the work party at the range for some maintenance on the berms, cutting and spraying weeds and some general clean up.   A big thanks to all that participated.

June 26, 2022 -Monthly Match

Another great day for shooting braught 8 cowboy out to enjoy the day.  Six stages were shoot with minimal complication with the exception of Doc Bandit who had problem with his rifle doing the dreaded "Marlin Jam".  Looks like he will have to go back to the drawing board to figure out what the problem is since he just replaced the carrier.

Officer elections were held with with Oddman and Bulldog changing  positions.  We thank all the offices for their dedication and hard work they put in for the benefit of the club.

Just another reminder that your annual membership renewal is due now.

June 12, 2022 -Monthly Match

Great weather was present for 8 "Want to be" cowboys for a great day of shooting.  Everything went smoothly with just a few minor mechanical problems.  Hopefully the good weather will bring out more cowboy.

It is that time of year again.  The annual membership renewal is due July 1.   You may download a form HERE, or go to the membership page.  There will also be forms available at the next shoot.

Also election of new officers will be done at the first shoot in July so let's polish of those campaign speeches and may the best cowboy win.

Our annual mothers day shoot only brought out 4 cowboy and no mothers ( we may need to advertise it better ).   Weather was good and everyone had a great time.

April 10, 2022 -Monthly Match

Only 6 cowboys showed up for a great match. The weather was near perfect with the sun shining and temperature just right.   Blue was back with one of his famous stages.  Doc Bandit and Bozeman Bandit both got procedurals on their own stages that they wrote (now that takes real skill!!!!).  Hope to see more cowboys out next time.

Finally, the weather semi cooperated and we could hold a shoot with the temperature being around 30deg F.   Four hardy (or crazy, depending on your view point) cowboys  showed up to have some fun even though there was a foot of snow on the ground.  Six stages were shot with the last one being the most difficult (Thank You, Badger Den) .   Doc Bandit was holding his own till the last stage but then totally blowing it with a near record number of misses (seven to be exact).  Oddman shot open category, thus did not use his rifle and used a non cowboy shotgun.   Everyone had a great time.  Hope to see more cowboys out next time
