Every one must of had a hangover from drinking to much eggnog since only a couple of cowboys showed up to shoot.  Doc Bandit shot the stages by himself and again won by a large margin.   His is hoping for more competition in the future.

December 13, 2020 -Monthly Match

​

The weather put a chill on the cowboys with only Doc Bandit, Oddman and Idaho Dutchman showing up.   After much discussion (including  solving the world's problems),  only Doc Bandit wanted to shoot a match.   He quickly shot 6 stages and cruised to an easy victory.  Hope to see more cowboys out next match.

November 29, 2020 -Monthly Match

​

Being the 5th Sunday of the month there was discussion of having a Wild Bunch Match.  Doc Bandit showed up but was left out in the cold with no one else coming to shoot. ( Ludwick came but not to shoot )   This gave Doc a chance to practice  so everyone is in trouble next time.

November 22, 2020 -Monthly Match

​

Weather was a bit chilly but didn't keep 6 cowboys from showing up to play.  However, after 3 stages, 4 cowboys decided they had enough and went how.  Being made of hardier stuff, Doc Bandit and Idaho Dutchman stayed and shot another 5 stage before going home.

In spite of a cold day, a few cowboys showed up to defend the west.

Only 3 cowboys came to the match due to the forest fire smoke that extended through out the region.

August 30, 2020 -Wild Bunch Match

​

Since it was the 5th Sunday of the month, it was decided to hold a Wild Bunch Match.   Five cowboy showed up prepared for action.  Equipment malfunctions was the norm with Ludwig illustrating that in a spectature way on the last stage.   In the end, everyone had a great time agreeing that we will have to do it again soon.

Hot summer weather has finally arrived, making shooting a little more challenging.  None the less, everyone had a great time.

​

Doc Bandit had the misfortune of forgetting his hat which brought many negative comments.  Fortunately, he was allowed to shoot the match.  There was discussion of adding a 10 sec penalty to each stage for such an egregious offence.  However, since no vote was taken, it was unclear whether the penalty was in force.  Just to be fair, Doc's scores are listed twice on the score sheet.  One without the penalty and one with the penalty.

​

Doc Bandit, however, was not alone in messing up. Honorable mention goes to RD who received a procedural on the stage he wrote.  One would hope that if you wrote the stage, you could remember it and shoot it correctly.😁

​

Lastly, if you have not paid your yearly dues ( which were due on July 1 ), please do so now!!   Otherwise, Idaho Dutchman will be tracking you down and knowing him, it may not be pleasant.

Another great day for shooting brought out 11 cowboys (well technically, 10 cowboys and 1 cowgirl) to save the west again.   Doc Bandit had the dubious honor being promoted to Elder Statesmen (those birthdays kinda suck, don't they).  On the other hand, he is the youngest in his class.  So you other Elder Statesman, lookout.

​

Remember the club dues are payable July 1.

June 14, 2020 -Monthly Match

 

The first match where the range is fully open was a great success. ( well, maybe not everyone would agree since Blue wrote several stage. ) Keep them guessing Blue.

​

It's that time of year again.  Starting July 1, the range dues are payable.  You may download the form from the membership page ( click hear ) or fill one out at the next match.

​

Also for those that have political and power ambitions, it's time to vote on the club officers for next year.  So work on your campaign speeches and we will hear them before we elect the new officers at the next match.

​

March 22, 2020 -Monthly Match

 

Even though Doc Bandit didn't make it to the match, 9 cowboys and 1 cowgirl made it to the shoot.  When Doc finally got the scores sheets, there was the following note written on top of the score sheet.  "Neither Blue nor Doc wrote stages.  All went smoothly, ALL day.  HeHe"  Now, Blue and Doc could take this personal.  However, they being the better cowboys, will stay above the insults and move on.😉​

March 8, 2020 -Monthly Match

 

Even though it was still a bit chilly, 11 hardy cowboy came out to play.  Six stages were shot with Blue writing two of them.  Somewhere in the past,  I thought we had decided not to let Blue write any more stages.  Oh well, his stages are alway interesting.  Doc Bandit, having been inspired by Blue, wrote his own "Blue" stage.  There was a fair amount of confusion on the stage but everyone seemed to enjoy it.   With any luck, maybe Doc Bandit will also not be allowed to write stages.

February 23, 2020 -Monthly Match

​

Tried to get the scores for the match from Oddman but it appears that no scores were kept. Per his email: "That’s easy Doc.

Oddman # 1, Blue # 2  and that's all. I guess the guys are staying away because of concern for the Corona virus. you think ?

Oddman".    I of course,  will differ to Oddman's judgement.   However, if Blue disagrees and wishes to dispute the scores, he may file a formal protest.

February 9, 2020 -Monthly Match

​

The weather had improved some, bringing out 8 cowboy to play. Everyone had a great time and plan to be back in 2 weeks.

On personal note, Doc Bandit didn't get the scores from the last match posted until today.  He doesn't really have any good excuse.   However, he would be more than willing to make one up, if the would make everyone happier!!!

The weather looked marginal but still 4 cowboys showed up to defend the west from the outlaws. Everyone has a good time and the west was safe for another day.   Hope to see everyone next time.
